This exhibition aims to provide an opportunity to introduce the artist's artworks which were inspired from their own personal experiences of Korea. It also investigates the multifaceted nature of cultural exchange to reveal the meaning of being Korean through the perspectives of non-Koreans. Hence, through the exhibition, the specific intimate connection that exists between interpretations and crossovers of culture is exposed. Developed by KCC, 'Dissolve, Inspiration by Korea' comprises of about 30 works including painting fibre, textile and Hanji (Traditional Korean Paper) crafts by Yvonne Boag, Jan Coveney, Catherine O'Leary, Marianne Penberthy and Maryanne Wick.......'

Exhibition - Students work - United Arab Emirates
Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
May, 2014
An exhibition of my student's work over a period of 6 years in the United Arab Emirates. As my farewell event they held an exhibition at the local sailing Club and I was thrilled with the volume and quality of work they'd achieved. It's exciting for me to know that these wonderful ladies have become as excited about Hanji as I have and many of them will continue doing it back in their own countries.
